JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Join the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) from noon to 1 p.m. Nov. 8 for a free MDC Wild Webcast on invasive species in Missouri.

MDC Aquatic Habitat Specialist Kenda Flores and Habitat Management Coordinator Nate Muenks will provide a brief presentation on different invasive plant and animal species found in Missouri such as zebra mussels, asian carp, hydrilla, bush honeysuckle, Callery pear, and more. They will also talk about how MDC staff is helping control invasive species and what you can do to help prevent them from spreading. In addition, MDC experts will answer questions from webcast participants.
