ROLLA, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) will host a Women’s Basic Archery and Crossbow workshop Thursday, Sep. 20, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at Bray Conservation Area in Rolla.

“This will be a women’s only basic archery and crossbow event,” explained Travis Mills, MDC’s Outdoor Skills Specialist. “We work with the participants to teach them basic archery and crossbow safety, equipment and shooting techniques, and then they’ll have ample opportunity to do actual shooting practice.”

Mills said the event is open to women ages 16 and older. There’s no cost and equipment will be provided. Online registration is required in advance. Bray Conservation Area is located at 14220 CR 7000 (Bridge School Road), in Rolla.
