BUTLER COUNTY, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) has named Caleb Pryor as the new conservation agent for Butler County. Pryor is among eight new agents of the Department's agent graduate class of 2015.

A Northeast Missouri native, Pryor graduated high school from Kirksville in 2009 and received a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Missouri Western State University in 2014.

An avid outdoorsman, Pryor enjoys running coon hounds, beagles and waterfowl hunting. He also enjoys traveling and hiking with his fiancée.

"I have always enjoyed the outdoors and I believe it's our responsibility to respect the land so that it can be enjoyed by generations to come," Pryor said. "I look forward to serving the people of Butler County by helping them protect their natural resources and helping them to discover nature."

Pryor can be contacted by email at caleb.pryor@mdc.mo.gov or at (573)300-3693. More information about conservation agent training can be found at mdc.mo.gov.
