Hunting may not only be a family tradition, but a personal privilege that everyone can enjoy. Hunting is basic to our nature. Hunting allows us to help control wildlife populations and fun projects for wildlife management. Hunting is also a safe and natural way to help each of us reconnect with nature and our surroundings. In this class, we will cover all the reasons to hunt, why its important, and explore myths about hunting.

It's summer and a good time to get out and relax on our rivers and streams. We will look at some of the best rivers here in Missouri for floating and the equipment you should take with you.

From hiding in plain sight to singing their tunes throughout the night these creatures sure are loud! Tune in to discover the special features that allow these sticky amphibians to thrive in Missouri’s swamps and forests. Missouri is a special state, boasting several interesting and unique natural communities. Join a naturalist for a virtual tour through these various ecoregions to learn what makes them different and how these natural communities have influenced the culture of our state. Participants will also receive information on locations across the state they can visit to see these interesting natural communities. Wondering how to begin trapping? Join us in this virtual program where we’ll teach you the basics to get started and how to trap successfully.
